Leadership & Executive Retreats That Change How Leaders Lead
Atlanta Challenge creates facilitated leadership retreats for executives, leadership teams, emerging leaders, and other groups of leaders who want to grow together.
Each retreat combines professional leadership develop-
ment, purposeful challenge, candid conversation, per-
sonal reflection, and practical application to help leaders
expand their range and translate insight into action.

Go Beyond Leadership Training & Development
Leaders bring their own ways of thinking, communicating, making decisions, handling uncertainty, and responding to pressure. These patterns can be valuable strengths, but relying on them too heavily can limit our range and affect the people around us.
A leadership retreat creates space to step outside immediate demands, recognize familiar patterns, explore different perspectives, and practice more effective responses.
Participants do more than discuss leadership. They experience leadership dynamics as they unfold and connect their discoveries to the relationships, decisions, and challenges that matter at work.
The Changes Leaders Can Create
The Leadership Growth Journey
When and Why Is a Leadership Retreat Valuable?
A retreat can help leaders:
Atlanta Area Retreats for Leadership Teams
Its members must continue growing as individual leaders. The group must also work effectively as a team.
A leadership-focused retreat may explore how participants lead the organization, navigate change, develop others, shape culture, make consequential decisions, and connect people to a larger purpose.
When the leadership team also needs stronger communication, trust, role clarity, decision-making, or collective accountability, we can incorporate appropriate team-development elements.
You do not have to determine the perfect category before calling us. We will help you identify the right balance of leadership development and team development for your group.
Make Leadership Growth Visible
A challenging decision, an unfamiliar situation, a difference of opinion, or a change in plans can reveal how people assess the landscape, influence others, respond to uncertainty, and draw upon their strengths.
Each retreat blends four developmental environments:
Choose the Right Depth for Your Local Retreat
Designed Around Your Leaders
We will consider the leadership demands they are facing, the strengths and patterns affecting their impact, and what balance of learning, experience, conversation, and reflection will serve them best.
Leadership assessments, thinking-style profiles, participant interviews, and other development tools can be incorporated when useful, but they are never required.
Retreats can be held indoors, outdoors, or through a combination of environments. Experiences are selected because they support the leadership objective, not because they test athletic ability. Activities can be adapted around accessibility, weather, physical comfort, and participant needs.
Atlanta Challenge can facilitate your retreat at an Atlanta-area resort, hotel, conference center, corporate location, or another destination selected by your organization.
